Probably the closest thing Rocket has to a "best friend" who isn't Groot or part of the Guardians. Due to some unfortunate Wonderland things, he ended up opening up to her and Shaun more, and since George came back as a clone, they've developed mutual triggers and an understanding of how FUCKED UP science is.
While Rocket's general personality skews closer to Shaun's, he lacks a lot of the things that draw him to George, but since the Masons are a matched set, both of them are part of his trust tree.
