The Guardians of the Galaxy. [He grins proudly.] We're like mercenaries, but better, 'cause what we do is apparently legal. But still basically mercenary work on a larger, savin'-the-galaxy scale.
Oh, that's a cool name~ [Though according to most of Ren's world, he has pretty bad taste in that sort of thing. It's hard to hide a sliver of amusement at the way it's being framed here, though.] So you're like...rogues, I guess...? Doing good things but in a way a lot of people would think is bad. Which is still a good thing, I think, but that's just me.

We ain't beholden to the laws of the galaxy, so we can do things that the bureaucrats can't put their hands on, which is why we don't technically support either of the major kingdoms in this place.
Well, it's pretty useful to have people like that around, I think, doing things the "good" way can be really slow sometimes... [Rocket did just mention bureaucracy, though, so he has to figure that he's got plenty of experience with that particular disadvantage already.]

Exactly! Quill gets so uppity about it, but dude fuel ain't cheap and neither are engine parts or parts to my very important gadgets and weapons that make sure we don't die. And also, consider... consider this. I love money.
