[Good lord, and Armin thought Jean had been trapped here for a long time. Four years is just... it is hard for him to fathom. Of course, it doesn't help that being only sixteen, four years is literally a fourth of his life.]
I hope you won't take this the wrong way but I'm glad to have found someone who isn't content with being here even after such a long time. Perhaps it is just the people I've been speaking to, but it feels like the longer they are in this place, the less concerned they are with getting out.

Rather, I wonder if this place might be doing something to the people here. If it can affect and take memories, it might also be able to suppress someone's desire to return home. Maybe that is why so many people grow comfortable here.

Of course, I might be completely wrong. It's just a thought I had.
